Widemouth Bay

Raven Surf School is at Widemouth Bay, all levels since 2004, small groups, and they call it the safest beach location in the Bude area.

Access & hazards
Met Office Widemouth Sand (Beach): high risk of rips. RNLI: large sandy beach with adjacent rocky reefs (rock-pooling), backed by low cliffs. 2026 patrols: Easter, then daily 2 May-27 September, 10am-6pm.
