Holywell Bay

National Trust Holywell (TR8 5PF). Non-members £2.50 / 1 hour, £5 / 4 hours, £9 all day; members free (JustPark 80592). Open 7am-11pm; no overnight parking.
Hire & lessons
Holywell Bay School of Surf is the only school based on the seafront, at the Holywell Bay Surf Life Saving Club, beginners, families, all ages.
Vibe
The school calls it perfect for beginners, families and groups. National Trust: surfing and sandcastles. Not a contest-beach claim.
Access & hazards
Met Office Holywell Bay (Beach): high risk of rips. The school times lessons to tide and conditions. National Trust still describes seasonal RNLI cover; Holywell is not named on the RNLI Easter / 2 May 2026 daily lists, so treat flags on the day as the rule.
