Sennen

Parking
Three parks: beachside (closest), an overflow field about five minutes’ walk, and the harbour park (Sennen Cove Harbour Commissioners). Sennen Beach: the beachside park may fill by 10am in peak holidays. Pay on site, the operator tariff did not publish as text on their parking page.
Hire & lessons
Sennen Surfing Centre is on the beach, one of the longest-running schools in the UK, beginners to intermediate. Smart Surf School is a second live operator on Sennen.
Vibe
Learner and family beach on the school sites: Sennen Surfing Centre and Smart both call it one of the best places in the UK to learn. Heavier water lives over the north headland at Gwenver, which is not this page’s peak.
Access & hazards
Met Office Sennen Cove (Beach): high risk of rips. RNLI: Sennen is on 2026 daily cover with Fistral, Perranporth and Porthmeor. Beginner sessions include beach safety.
