High and low tide clocks come from WorldTides. Height is exposed swell after wrap, then scored for wind and the usual tide window. Maps are Mapbox. Some stills come from Windy. ## Coasts

- [North Devon](https://barrelmonkey.surf/coast/north-devon): One west-facing run and a handful of peaks. Croyde is the hollow, tide-critical wave; Woolacombe and Saunton give you miles of sand when the car park is full. The same swell, fewer people, at Putsborough and Westward Ho!.
- [North Cornwall](https://barrelmonkey.surf/coast/north-cornwall): From Bude to Sennen the coast faces the same Atlantic fetch. Newquay’s contest beaches, the long banks at Perranporth and Gwithian, then coves and reefs as you run west. A west or north-west swell with an offshore is the classic day.
- [South Wales](https://barrelmonkey.surf/coast/south-wales): South and west Wales take the same Atlantic swell on a bigger tide. Rest Bay and Llangennith are the names. Pembrokeshire is heavier and usually quieter: Freshwater West, Whitesands and Newgale.
